Candied Pecans

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 4 cups pecans

Mix first six ingredients in a saucepan large enough to eventually hold nuts. Melt on medium heat, stirring often, until a dull gloss forms. Gently stir in pecans, using a soft spatula, until evenly coated. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 325F for 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly before breaking apart. Pack airtight or freeze.
