More than Oatmeal

  • 3 Tbsp rolled oats
  • 2 tsp currants (or any fruit)
  • 1 tsp roasted buckwheat groats
  • 2 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup boiling water

Mix all ingredients. Microwave 1 minute. Add honey or milk (sometimes I add a few spoonfuls of tea!). Heart healthy and filling!

  1. This sounds yummy. I’m in the habit of skipping breakfast. This sounds like a power meal will try and it has a lot of food groups. Thanks for sharing
